Another page in the unfolding. Hi, this is Meredith Foster. Sometimes when we follow God's lead, we end up in a place that we

never expected. Sarah DeRosha felt called to take care of people. She used her training as a level

one trauma nurse to help others, both at her

work and on medical missions trips. While in a journey to the most remote area of Bolivia,

Sarah was involved in a terrible accident. Suddenly, her trauma training was the key to her own

survival. I'm a nurse. At the time, I had just accepted my dream job in Nashville,

Tennessee as a level one trauma nurse. And I had moved down there to be near a guy that I had been

engaged to. Our relationship was kind of on the rocks. At the time, I was 25. I really accepted this

job. I was leaving home and my family. And, you know, I was excited. I really accepted this job. I was leaving home and my family and, you know, I was excited

because I had planned mission trip to go to Bolivia and I was just really trusting the Lord because

I had a feeling that I was not supposed to marry the guy that I was marrying. I just had a lot of

turmoil inside myself regarding this relationship. So I had gone before to Bolivia the year prior in

2013 to do a medical missions trip with a couple cold water ministries and fell in love with the

people, fell in love with that mission organization, and just I loved it. I just couldn't wait to

go back. And an opportunity came in 2014 to return, but for an extended period of time this time.
