When Habib Habib was growing up in Lebanon, he was painfully shy and sheltered. Just the idea of speaking to strangers was something he could not do. Then a war stranded him thousands of miles from his family and his comfort zone, and his faith was tested like never before. Here's Habib. Well, I was born in Lebanon. I was one of three boys. I was the shy guy.

I was really shy and quiet and tender. My older brother was mischievous and would play with people

complete opposite. I was afraid to do anything wrong because I was afraid to get

in trouble. But my parents were Christians. They were born Christians rather than converted from

Islam. In Lebanon, just the background. Only 100 years ago, the Christians were 90% of the population

of Lebanon. I did not know that.

And actually, Wadi Qadisha, which means the Holy Valley, is a UNICEF world heritage site
