So I put my hand on the mouse and I slid the cursor up to hit delete.

I said, I can't do this anymore.

I can't keep praying for this project.

I can't keep hoping.

I went to delete it and one of those few times in my life where I really

felt God speaking to me just saying, don't do that. God's story has been unfolding.

Since the beginning of time. He invites you to be a part of it.

The Chosen. Well, this past week, my friend Tina and I went to the movie theater to see the best

Christmas pageant ever. It's based on a classic Christmas story. Maybe you read the book in grade

school or saw the made-for-TV movie back in the 80s. The first time Dallas Jenkins read that book,

20 years ago, he just knew he was meant to make it into a movie. It wasn't just a hope or a dream.

It felt a lot more like a calling. But over and over for years,

he was told no. The door stayed firmly shut. So Dallas, tell me about how you first encountered
