Are there parts of your life that you look back on with regret?

If only I knew then, what I know now, I would have lived life differently.

Brian Crum has had the privilege of walking hundreds of people through their final days.

The 10 years he spent as a hospital chaplain allowed him a glimpse

into the thoughts and feelings of those approaching the end of life, including their regrets

and disappointment and the many things they wish they had done differently. And what he heard

changed his life. Through those conversations, he realized so few of us grasp just how much God loves us. He witnessed miraculous

moments when the veil between heaven and earth was thin. I spent a lot of time working jobs

that they just weren't taking me anywhere. I think my backstory is that. I tried everything from

driving a forklift to working as an ultrasound tech. It's weird because I went to seminary to be

a minister. And when I got out of school, I found myself in these other jobs. And I even tried
