Hi, this is Meredith Foster.

Infertility is relatively common.

One in six couples will struggle to conceive, and yet it can be a very lonely experience.

Taylor and Lindsay Ho-Hoolin had always assumed they would have children. They were healthy. Their families seemed to have no problem conceiving.

So when they had trouble, it was perplexing. Taylor and Lindsay have experienced the highs and lows of an infertility journey.

They've been full of hope and full of grief. When you long for something so desperately,

something that God says is good. How do you trust he's faithful even while your arms are empty?

We met at a Christian University in Northwest Arkansas. I was born and

raised in Dallas, Texas. Lindsay was from Ankeny, Iowa, and we met in the middle in Siloam Springs,

Arkansas. It was not love at first sight because Lindsay was... He wasn't hate either. He always says it

that way, and it sounds bad. It was ambivalence at first sight, if you will. Lindsay was dating somebody and I was, you know, all kinds of mess figuring out some mental health issues. So it was just kind of this, you know, this girl who lived in the hall in one of the dorms. But then the next year was when, I don't know, something just clicked between us. And, you know, we just became really good friends.

We bonded over a lot of similar interests.

And then I knew he liked me and wanted to ask me out.
