My guests, as per usual, every other Monday, are the one and only Perry Goldstein and the also one and only Alex Strofe, who I'm excited to talk Packers with, but with a little bit more of a somber feeling, I had to wear black because we are certainly in mourning here. We've got the black background ongoing. Perry, yeah, you're wearing yellow. I know Alex has got the green. I still got Packer stuff on. We don't change support no matter what happens. But Perry, I will start with you. That was a frustrating loss.

What was your gut reaction to the Packers, 23 to 7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings?

What do I just watch? Like, what team did I just watch? I just feel like there was a, I don't know,

maybe I was too optimistic about both sides of the ball. Like, maybe it was my

expectations that this is just like offense growing pains. And no, I have nothing to say about

the defense. They played worse than they should have. I don't know. I have a lot of thoughts.

But that was my gut reaction was just like, this is not the team that I was expecting to come out there. There was no juice. There was no energy. It's the first game. Why aren't you excited to be playing? Like, why, where is that like energy? Yeah, I'll stop there. Alex, like you said, Perry, there's a lot to go over.

We'll get to all of it.

But Alex, what was your gut reaction? Yeah, I think Perry nailed it, right? Like, I'm flirting between whether like, it's just week one and, you know, how it went last year. They still won 13 games. Maybe I don't want to overreact. but also, is this just how it is going to be this year?

Right?

Is it going to be a slow burn, is this just how it is going to be this year, right?

Is it going to be a slow burn, the growing pains, as Perry alluded to? I don't really know where I'm at yet. We're too quick removed, right, like for me to make a final decision of where my head's at. But yeah, it was frustrating. I'll give you that much. Yeah, so I think it's worth noting that this is week one, week one last year, also abysmal.

And you can't really jump to any conclusions off of one game.

There's a lot of football left, especially when don't have David Bocteri, don't have Elton Jenkins, don't have Alan Lazard.

There's certainly some pieces missing to that puzzle, but certainly not a great first impression

to the 2022, 2023 Green Bay Packers.

And I had a lot of really frustrating gut reactions to this game.
