Kyle Malzahn, also a former

UWGB alum like myself. Kyle has been in the area at WFRV for some time. I'm looking up the bio.

It's almost been, it's been close to six, seven years, Kyle, since you graduated and still

holding it down with the WFRV sports team. And I said this to Carson when he was on on the audio episode, Kyle, which I'm sure you listen to when Carson was on. And I'm very, I like the, and for lack of a better term, the fraternity that you guys are building now. You got Bert Griffin, who's back from a medical leave. But it's like you, Cam, Cam's putting out his stuff on TikTok now, Carson, the squad over there. It's like, it's cool to watch, you know, from a distance living in Green Bay for a while. And I'm sure you've observed this when you were growing up in Fondelak and elsewhere. Like, you see, you know, people come and go, right? That's just the industry. you like for you guys kind of blending together in your similar peer group, it's been kind of awesome. But welcome to Packaday Podcast. It's been some time to get you on here. But yeah, man, appreciate you hopping on. Dude, thanks so much, man. And you talk about it. Yeah, I've been at WFRV now for nine years. obviously it's been journey, but it's been a lot of fun. And the last

six covering the Packers has been quite the ride of the end of the Aaron Rogers era, welcoming

in Jordan Love and where this young football team can go now. I've had a lot of fun and I'm

grateful for every single opportunity. And of course, Matt, thank you so much for having me on, man.

Yeah, I've mentioned you on the podcast before about, you know, going either back and forth in the DMs on certain things or articles you've written. I've also slandered you at times saying, hey, to Carson, I'm like, you know what, we've got to get this guy on the episode. he keeps bail on me. So we finally hunted you down.

Nine years is crazy. We've watched

basketball game before we were able to get each other on an audio episode for Pack a Day. So let's dive in nine years. I mean, that's more than I thought, but I remember the way you started and truly grinded it out to get where you're at. What's the, what, you know, covering the team, what's changed over nine years? We know coaches have changed, quarterbacks have changed, uh, GMs, I guess would have changed, I think, um, Mark Murphy is no longer there. We got under the ed policy era. We all know that, right? Anyone that's listening to Pack of a podcast or even a super casual fan probably understand some of the changes that happened, But like, what else have you seen change? We know the, I guess the inside of the stadium has changed at times, the locker room, but like, is there, is it this, it's the same Packer way, 15 minutes ahead of time, Lombardi time. Speak to me about that since you started covering the team until now. What, what that has kind of evolved into? Well, it was really interesting because right when I started on the Packers B,

it was right at the tail end of COVID.
