notes from the NFL, not from a Packer standpoint.

The NFL set their 53-man cut-down deadline, which is going to be 5 p.m. Central time on Sunday,

August 30th. So if you want to set your calendars to see how the Packers' first 53 is finalized,

again, 5 p.m. Central time Sunday, August 30th.

Waivers must be completed by noon on Monday, August 31st.

If you want to claim any players that were waived on that previous Sunday,

and then, of course, practice squads will get set right after that.

And we will go into week one with a 53-man roster, a 16-man practice squad, and of course,

likely one International Pathway Program player on the practice squad as well, which will get

you your 70-man Green Bay Packer roster for 2026. August 30th, cut down day, August 31st waiver deadline.
