We turn to the politics, which are quite separate from the firefighting. The politics are

ferocious, and these are all professionals. They're in the business of bang, bang, bang,

to the media moments, and everything is on video.

So there's no moment when you can relax your guard or misspeak.

However, it happens.

Right now we're dealing with several levels of leadership.

We're going to start with the President of the United States,

who was on earlier today or yesterday with the governor of California talking about misinformation.

And the vice president of the United States, Kamala Harris, I believe she has a home in Brentwood.

Has she said anything on TV, Jeff?

I haven't seen anything from her, aside from her presence at a news conference, I believe

yesterday.

But she's not been present in the area as far as I know.

We've not seen her out there talking about it.

Governor Newsom has been out there in various locations. Mayor Bass, the mayor of L.A.,

she's been out there at different places, usually, though, in news conferences. But we've not seen

the vice president as far as I know.

The governor has been speaking in many directions. Most recently, he's written to the president-elect of the United States, Mr. Trump,

and use the word disinformation.

What's he complaining about?

Who's using disinformation?
