Very exciting. Now there's news about the famous Brian Wilson.

Jeff, a very good evening to you. Tell the younger people what the

Beach Boys represented to you in in in California because you knew a place that I

thought was just make-belief. Good evening to you.

Do you, John, it's it's hard to have I thought was just make-belief. Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. It's hard to have grown up in the 60s, 70s, or 80s, and not known the Beach

Boys, you know, living in Southern California, but certainly places around the world.

They helped frame the images of what California was thought to be, the surf culture, the beaches,

the clothes, you know, the blondes, you know, the hot rods, the whole thing.

And if you lived in California, if you surfed in California, they name dropped a number of the beaches that were popular.

I was one of them last week for a music festival in Redondo Beach, but I have several near my home here in Orange County.

And, you know, it was something that wasn't lost on me when I'd go surfing

there's certain this cultural historical references and so they played a very

important part in building California up and they still do their music is used in movies

commercials it's a touchstone for so many people across so many generations that they really

helped kind of as they, define the California sound.

And Brian Wilson is aged. He's 81 years old and what's happened, Jeff?
