Without a Portland Oregon, the city council voted 3-1 to drop its rarely enforced ban on

camping on public property.

Instead of allowing overnight camping, provided campers don't block private property schools

or businesses.

Jeff, is this about the homeless good evening to you?

It is and it isn't, John, good evening.

This is about, you know, the far left part of the progressive wing up there that is really

running the show these days.

You have a lot of frustrated business people.

A lot of these frustrated residents, including some people are very liberal and very sympathetic

to the homeless there who are either being run out of town or considering leaving town

because it's becoming untenable.

As I've mentioned before, I've been up there, I have a son that lives in Portland.

And to see how that city has changed over the years is breathtaking.

The amount of the number of people just living out on the street, when I say living

on the street, I mean tents are pitched every few feet on the sidewalks.

People are living in alleyways and driveways and you know, they're not living under tents

all the time.

Sometimes they're just out in parking lots, but it's everywhere you look in Portland.
