know about Humboldt County. Good evening to you. Good evening, John. Power is back across

Humboldt County, which is in Northern California. It's about five-hour drive north of San

Francisco just to give you an idea where it is. That 6.4 earthquake hit earlier this

week. Thankfully, there were not a lot of casualties, although they've now revised the

number to two people dead, unfortunately, and several dozen injured. Of course, there

were many towns that had quite a bit of destruction, long-term impacts on residences and businesses

and infrastructure there. They're coming back slowly but surely. They've opened up some

of the bridges that were closed, but it is a very sad time for a lot of people up there.

They've seen their livelihoods destroyed and a lot of their homes destroyed as well.

We go from Humboldt County to the question of California and population. Humboldt County

is a rural area with a culture that's not unlike the West, California West, but the large

urban metropolis of California, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles are facing a phenomenon.
