0:03.6	assistant boards.com podcast and today we're going to talk about
0:06.8	hepatic cysts. Now, hepatic cysts isn't really something that's on the
0:11.7	pen's blueprint, but I thought it would be a good topic to talk about,
0:16.1	especially, well, I'm probably being a little bit selfish, but I had a couple of patients that
0:20.9	came in this past week with a diagnosis of
0:24.0	the hepatic cysts. One was actually an ultrasound tech student and you know as
0:29.8	they were practicing ultrasounds on each other one of the students found
0:32.4	a hepatic cysts they brought it to the teacher's attention the teacher said
0:36.4	maybe you should go and get it checked out now you know when I was presented with
0:40.9	this you know I said let's let's repeat an ultrasound here, we can send it out,
0:45.5	we'll get measurements, we'll see if it's simple, we're not.
0:47.8	But as far as that goes, as far as saying if it's simple or not simple, I really had no more information to offer this person, so I thought
0:55.9	it would be prudent on myself to go ahead and do a little bit of research.
1:00.5	And I thought, well, why not relay that research to you guys as well right so and pat exists is not something I
1:06.8	Learned in school maybe for you it is maybe for you it isn't however I thought this would be a great time to bring this up so we can go ahead and learn about
1:15.4	hepatic cyst together.
1:16.7	This is very brief.
1:18.3	There's not a lot to it because there's not a lot of data out there. So what I'm going to give you is pretty much
1:24.8	what's out there. But I still think it'll help you guys out. I know it'll help me
1:29.8	out. I know it helped me out so I can go ahead and attack anybody that comes in with the
1:33.8	the hepatic cyst you know I know kind of how to work them up now.
