that you're joining us to get our minds aligned with the truth of God every single day. That's

our way through Proverbs chapter 22 and today we come to an interesting section. This is

verses 17 through 21 that we're going to look at today and these all run right together

and you'll see why in a moment this section sounds like Solomon was giving kind of an

overall summary and urging to the reader regarding the things he's been sharing and he's

wanting to spur us on in our willingness and in our devotion to learning about wisdom.

So let's read his advice here. He says, incline your ear and hear the words of the wise

and apply your heart to my knowledge for it will be pleasant if you keep them within

you, if all of them are ready on your lips, that your trust may be in the Lord. I have

made them known to you today, even to you, having it written for you 30 sayings of counsel

and knowledge to make you know what is right and true, that you may give a true answer to
