A welcome back, my friends. It is time for the morning mindset. I hope you are ready to

along with me get your minds aligned with the truth of God. If you are listening across

the globe, I want to say welcoming, I'm looking right now at the continent of Africa.

And we have a number of people listening in various countries in Morocco, in Egypt, in

Tunisia, in Burkina Faso, in Cote d'Ivoire, I think I'm saying that right, in Liberia,

in Senegal, in Cameroon, in the Democratic Republic of Acongo. Thank you all for listening.

There are some of your neighboring nations there who do not have the morning mindset. The

Central African Republic, Chad, Libya, I would encourage you if you know people in those

places, Christians who would love to hear an encouraging word, please share it with

those people today. Alright friends, we aren't going to dive back into our study of Proverbs

in chapter 21. Today we're looking at two verses, chapter, verse number 12 and verse

number 15. Both of these give us a perspective of why it is beneficial in the long run to

pursue righteousness. Now that's the kind of thing you would expect a Christian podcast

and a Bible teaching podcast to say. But it is said because it is true. It's not a

prudish thing, it's not a goody, too-shoes thing. It is a God thing. This is how God

encourages human beings who he created to function is in a state and a quality of righteousness.

Let's read these verses and pick them apart just a bit. Proverbs 20 and 12 says, the

righteous one observes the house of the wicked. He throws the wicked down to ruin. I think

we've gone over this one a few episodes back, but it's worth repeating here. There is

an end result of living a righteous life that comes about irrespective of our effort.

Here when it says the righteous one observes the house of the wicked, it looks like he's

just watching the wicked seeing what he does. And then it says he throws the wicked down

...
