Zachass in New South Wales. Celebrating springtime. Here come the animals. Everybody's

exotic, everybody's going to try to kill you. And lest you think I'm making this up,

the snakes, the venomous snakes are washing up on the beaches.

That's right.

We noted that they were never seemed to be hibernating this winter.

They were out there wrestling the pythons.

Well, these are the venomous kind.

Where, Jeremy, on the beaches of New South Wales?

Well, the beaches of New South Wales, Northern New South Wales, I should say, and also Queensland,

specifically the Sunshine Coast, which is just a little bit north of Brisbane so not very far from

the capital city and and John it's not just one or two snakes there's an

epidemic of snakes washing ashore right now and these these snakes in

particular are dangerous that the yellow-bellied sea snakes in particular are dangerous.

They are the yellow-bellied sea snakes

and a variety of other sea snakes as well

that have very, very toxic bites.

And they are just washing ashore up and down the coastline

because as we've been talking about, the weather's doing some very weird things

it's warm when it should be cool, it's cool and it should be warm, but what has really thrown these

poor little crives out of sorts is that we've recently had some very strong storm activity which was partly

driven by the Antarctic push of cold air up into Australia and created all sorts of chaos in
