I'm John Bachelors headed to Australia where it's fall coming winter.

However, there's much to say about the Australian winter weather these last seasons.

In Germany's axis here in New South Wales, there's been huge rainstorms.

There's been flooding.

There was snow where it shouldn't be.

And then the heat, Jeremy, a very good day to you.

The heat was a story the last time we talked in early March.

Now you introduce me to the Southern annular mode, short and hand as Sam.

What is it Jeremy?

Good day to you.

You know, John, yes, the Sam looks like it's actually the what we have now instead of

Leninia.

So across the entire Bureau of Meteorology and all the climatics or the climate

scientists here in Australia, they're telling us now that Leninia is over.

We're finished with Leninia.

The strange Leninia patterns won't hit us anymore.

But we now have this Southern annular mode.

And what this, basically, in a nutshell, is a band of cold weather systems across

the southern part of Australia that will disrupt what is normal weather patterns for all

our seasons.
