He's in New South Wales, a chilly New South Wales for Australia. Everything's relative.

And now we turn to reptiles. It's cold. And reptiles do not like the cold. They go indoors,

most of the time, if they can get indoors. However, we're talking about, I believe, an outside reptile,

very large, very, very large, large enough actually to be intimidating, although it's an anaconda.

Jeremy, remind everyone what is anaconda snake? An anaconda is basically a large large python so normally a python

maybe about two to three meters so we're talking maybe you know a four to six feet or maybe even

a little bit longer let's be generous up to nine feet anacondas though it can be about three times that

so you can have anacondas up to, say, 30 feet long.

So they're just really, really big scary snakes, John.

And a family has located an anaconda and is holding it as if it was, you know, those

contests where they make sandwiches about 50 feet long and people hold them up?

That's what it looks like, Jeremy.

That is exactly what it is, John. And what happened here was actually up in the Gold Coast in

Queensland. And Queensland is known for us python. So typically getting maybe a six foot

python or maybe a 10 foot python is actually pretty normal but what happened during the

week was a family reported that they they could hear some scurrying in kind of one of their down

pipes and along their guttering and they thought we've got a snake probably we'll try and figure out

where it is we'll go find it call the snake catcher in and that'll be done so they did exactly that

i believe it was the dad

managed to get up on the roof looked in the guttering and lo and behold he saw it in the down

pipe was what looked like a snake head and he didn't think too much of it it looked like a normal
