Summary

It’s our first anniversary of owning RV Land in Tennessee and we are amazed at the progress we’ve made in developing it. We’re also pleasantly surprised by how much we’ve come to love the land and the Mid-Tennessee community of Linden. Our five acres are in a development called The Woodlands of Buffalo River just outside Linden and not far from the beautiful and wild Buffalo River. So in Episode 424 of the RV Podcast, we thought it would be fun and informative to give you an overview on what our first year of owning RV land in Tennessee has been like and answer some of the more common questions we get.

0:10.0	What's it been like? Stay with us. We'll talk about it. Hello, everybody. I'm Mike Wendland, and this is my lifelong traveling companion and my bride, Jennifer.
0:29.7	And I see you've got your Nashville sweatshirt on. I've got my Tennessee sweatshirt on. And this is in honor of our discussion topic for today,
0:40.1	which is our first year of owning RV land. What have we learned? What have we done? We're
0:46.1	going to talk about that coming up because it's literally a year today. And we are amazed at the
0:53.6	progress that we've made in developing it and how much we enjoy
0:58.0	it, right? Like you say. Yeah, we have really come to enjoy and love this land. We've fallen in
1:03.4	love with the area of Linden, a small town community that is very pleasant to be a part of. We
1:10.7	love the open spaces and having room to
1:14.1	explore and look around. So what we've done is we kind of put together a retrospective look
1:19.7	at the past year since we bought the property, how we found it, what we've done for it, and then
1:25.8	we'll answer some of the many questions that we get every week.
1:29.2	So without any further ado, our main topic for this week, our first year of owning RV land.
1:36.1	We're in mid-Tennessee, and we're looking for some land so that we have a place to camp any time we want,
1:43.8	and we can invite other people to join us.
1:46.0	And so that's what we're looking for.
1:48.0	Now we've, we're here because we've actually done a couple of stories on people who have bought their own RV land.
1:57.0	And we kind of really fell in love with this part of Tennessee. It's centrally located
2:03.6	and it is really wild country and if you know us you know we love to boondock. And it's an hour
2:10.7	and a half from Nashville. Where we have our son lives there and Nashville is just like the coolest
2:17.4	town in America these days.
