Summary

Welcome to the '5th Thing' with Amy & Kat!! Today’s quote is from Adam Grant: “Downplaying your achievements is not the antidote to appearing arrogant. Humility is acknowledging your weakness, not denying your strengths. Generosity is elevating others, not diminishing yourself. Owning your success doesn’t make you a narcissist…it makes you a role model." Such a good quote and Amy was able to use it to motivate herself before a big meeting this last week (along with the wonder woman pose!) Allowing yourself to know what you know is a beautiful place to be (if you can get there) and we have Jennifer Garner to thank for that reminder!

Other things from this episode:
-PSA: Put sunscreen on your neck!!!
-Did you know that green can make you feel optimistic and refreshed?? Amy shares the cute green blazer that she will be ordering since @NextDoorLife told us that green = refreshed!!
-Can spiders bite through clothing??
-How to set up your “Medical ID” on your iPhone (your watch/phone could save your life!)
-Checking in on your heart rate (and it’s something we should be aware of/knowing your body!)
-Raise your hand if you relate to this: “Don't ever be scared to cancel plans with me. I’ll hop back in bed so fast!”
