Alright guys, today we got a special guest on the podcast. His name is Owen Strand.

He is a provost and research professor of theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary in Arkansas.

He's also the senior fellow with the Family Research Council. He earned his PhD from Trinity Evangelical

Divinity School and his MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. And he's authored a

bunch of books. I think it's close to two dozen now, including reenchanting humanity, a theology of

mankind, the pastor as public theologian reclaiming a lost vision and his latest book, which we

spent the overwhelming amount of our time today talking about. It's this Christianity and

Wokeness, how the social justice movement is hijacking the gospel and the way to stop it. Guys,

we had such a good time on this podcast. It took us a long time to get this kind of worked out

because he was doing a bunch of interviews and then you know, we're trying to squeeze it in,

didn't quite work out with the schedule. So this was a long time coming. This was literally

months in the making. But the majority of what we talked about today is we talked about how a lot

of Christians are becoming almost romantically enamored with this woke ideology and not even

understanding that it's happening. Okay. You have a lot of churches that are kind of buying

into critical race theory and buying into it as just, oh, we're just going to use this as a tool

with which to differentiate ourselves and to view the world and all these different things. So

we spent a lot of time digging into that. We go, we go deep into the definitions like we define

Wokeness, critical race theory, anti-racism, whiteness. We even get into soft postmodernism

versus hard postmodernism. This was a mind blowing thing for me as I was reading his book. It's like,

oh, man, I've been preparing you guys. My audience for this soft postmodernism and not the hard post

modernism that we're seeing. But also we just talked about how, you know, Wokeness really as an
