My name is Todd Pruitt.

I'm the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia in the beautiful

Shenandoah Valley.

Now, normally I am joined by my regular co-host and friend Carl Truman.

But as you know, Carl has written a book that, I mean, Carl always writes good books. This

latest book, though, has made quite a splash. It's being considered quite important by a number of

people. And as a result, he is kind of globe trotting all over the place with many significant

invitations to come and teach and speak and be interviewed and that kind of thing, because he has written an important book.

Now, this is my promise to you, loyal mortification of spin listeners.

I will never do that.

I will never write a book or really anything so important that anyone would want to talk to me.

So I'll always be here for you. I want

you to know that. I will never leave you or forsake you, but we'll look forward to having Carl back

once people get tired of listening to him. So we are waiting into an important issue today. It is

an issue that is, I guess you could say it's especially pressing in the
