In 1 Corinthians, the 10th chapter, he's talking about Israel. He's talking about that first generation of Israelites that God delivered out of Egyptian bondage. The Bible talks about how he brought them out. But in verse 5, it says, but with many of them them God was not well pleased what does it take to please

God faith he wasn't pleased with them so what do we know they weren't operating in faith so they

must have been operating in unbelief or doubt for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

If you won't believe God, can you fail?

Yeah.

You'll go down.

Is that right?

You can absolutely fail.

You can be destroyed if you won't believe God.

Verse 6.

Now these things were our examples. To the intent, we should not lust

after evil things. And he mentions, don't be an idolater like they were. Don't fornicate like

they did. Don't tempt Christ like they did. Verse 10, don't murmur as they did. How many times

have we seen murmuring complaining already? Notice in that

tenth verse, neither murmur ye as some of them also murmured and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Did you know that murmuring and complaining opens the door to the destroyer.

Well, that's a serious thing, isn't it?

Complaining is very serious.

Complaining is one of the characteristics of unbelief that we've seen.

Verse 11.

Now, all these things happen unto them for in samples are examples, and they are written for our admonition,

for our instruction and correction, whatever, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
