But I want us to study something here from the 29th chapter of Proverbs.

I'll tell you why you're doing that.

Just go ahead and find a New Testament verse.

Then we can look at these two at the same time.

Now, how many believe you're going to get something worth hearing today?

Now, you know, what kind of services we have are not just totally up to me.

The utterance is greatly affected by the hearer.

You know, we taught all last week on esteem in what you hear.

We talked about that quite a bit, and we saw from the scriptures that you are going,

the measure that you meet to what you hear is going to determine how much you get out of it.

If you just hear it and think, oh, I know that, I've heard that before, and you're just

not paying much attention, well, you won't get much out of it.

But if you esteem it as the Word of God, as the riches that will answer all the dilemmas of

your life and show you what to do and get you out of problems and get you to the next level

of blessing, then you will hear intently. Is that right? You will, I mean, you will relish the words

of the Lord. I'm not just talking about Keith Moore's words. I'm talking about the words of the Lord.

You'll relish his word. You'll savor his word. You'll treasure his words. Like the psalmist said,

I rejoice at thy word as he who has found a great spoil. Like you found a big treasure. You
