We're going to be delving into some difficult conversations here. We're going to be talking about suicide, mental health, all these different kinds of things. So if it's something that you don't want to hear, maybe you want to turn it off now instead of listening to the whole thing.

But otherwise, if you have anything that you want to hear about those topics, you would

want to listen because this is going to be a good show.

I'm going to start off the show with some statistics that are very alarming when I read them.

And then we'll bring on our guest.

As of 2020, suicide is the second

leading cause of death for U.S. children ages 10 to 14. That blew me away. That just doesn't

seem like it should happen. And it's just incredible. In 2021, 51.7% of U.S. women received mental health services while only 40% of men received mental health services.

We have mental health issues in this country.

We have them all over the world.

And I wanted to talk about them right here in this community.

And I thought the best person to talk to would be Wendy Seidel.

She's the executive director

of the Greater Reading Mental Health Alliance and I wanted to say hello. How are you? I'm well. Thank
