So I think what separates the top loan officers from the not top loan officers is primarily one simple thing.

0:18.0

And it's overcoming the fear of rejection. I really believe that's it.

0:23.6

So my brother, Steve Kyle's, what do you think about that, man? That's powerful. You know,

0:27.6

it's, it's absolutely a foundation to what we're seeing as loan officers are succeeding at the

0:33.4

highest level. This is the biggest piece because the action and things like that are easy

0:38.0

once you get past the belief that you can and this right here. So let's talk about it.

0:43.8

So I got I got 10 bullet points here. Let's go. So bullet point number one, because you know what,

0:51.9

we all know that if we make more offers, we'll get more closings.

0:55.7

That's right. Everybody knows that. Yep. And the only thing that holds us back from, and when I say make more offers, calling our past database, meeting with real estate agents asking for referrals, our friend family members asking for referrals. We all know that if we called our past database would

1:12.4

close more loans. So why don't they? We all know if we called up more real estate agents and asked

1:17.4

them to refer to us, they just would, right? Not all of them, but a lot of them, right? And so

1:23.9

why don't most loan officers do that is the fear of rejection?

1:28.4

So I think bullet point number one is understanding rejection is a normal part of sales.

1:37.3

It's just a normal part.

1:38.7

Like it just comes with a territory that every, like Marie and I went, she's out looking for a new car and so we went to

1:46.6

two different dealerships and um we didn't buy a car at each dealership right so they know that

1:54.4

hey they know their numbers and a certain percent's going to buy a car and a certain percent

1:58.2

it's just not going to find a match there. Yeah. And so I think that understanding that like most successful loan officers face numerous rejections

2:10.8

before closing a deal.

2:13.1

And I think once we understand that part, like in my case, I get an 84% rejection rate from real estate agents.

2:20.5

84% say no.

2:22.5

I've made a good living on the 16%.
