Summary

In this week's solo episode, I’m catching you up on my life and answering listener questions about navigating societal and family pressures. I share an exciting and intimidating update, reflect on embracing stillness after a busy season, and talk about the pressure to “keep up” with milestones like marriage, babies, and houses. Later, I offer advice to a listener feeling stuck in her late twenties and share tips for handling family holiday questions about being single and thriving during the holiday season.

been feeling a little bit down, going for a walk and putting on a podcast that I'm really into

has actually just helped lift my spirits. I feel like I'm hanging out with friends in the hosts or the guests

that they're having on. I feel like I'm focused on whatever they're talking about on the podcast

my current favorite podcast, Honeywhere Home. It is hosted or co-hosted by Nicole Pellegrino

going to get them on seeing other people ASAP. They're just amazing humans and they are so vulnerable

And they're amazing. And I appreciate all the conversations they have. But yeah, we have a really great solo episode today. I wanted to do a good old catch up because we don't get to catch up enough. And I think in 2025, and I'm curious what you guys think of this. Because anytime I do a solo episode, I go through my whole spiel of like, I don't know why. I get anxious to do solo episodes and I put them off and I'm nervous about them. But then you guys give me feedback that you really enjoy the solo episodes. And realistically, solo episodes are a lot easier for me to create than a guest episode where I have to, you know, reach out to a guest and then we have to schedule it.
