One of the biggest challenges for Christian parents is failing to follow through in biblical discipline as they raise their children. Don’t let that be your family. There are many reasons why there’s a lack of alignment and follow through in this area, discussed in this episode. Isaac and Angie Tolpin also bring a needed perspective to Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it,” that will be an encouragement to all parents. You can’t save your children, and ultimately they will develop their own relationship with God or not, but there’s a lot you can do to disciple them, and an important part of discipleship can be discipline, if you understand how to reach their hearts, encourage them to repent, and point them to Jesus in the process. If you want the 10 steps to biblical discipline and so much more, join Isaac and Angie in the Parenting Mentor Program at courageousparenting.com.
