Anger is growing after the shooting of a second US citizen in Minneapolis.

37-year-old Alex Preti was shot and killed by a federal law enforcement agent on Saturday.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristy Noem claimed Preti, quote, attacked officers

and was seen, quote, brandishing a gun. None of the video footage available so far shows

Prettie committing any attack, nor holding a weapon. A concealed handgun appeared to be taken

from his waistband area by a federal agent moments before he was shot. Minneapolis officials say Preti, an ICU nurse, was a registered and lawful gun owner.

When someone makes the choice to come into an active law enforcement scene,

interfere, obstruct, delay, or assault law enforcement and and they bring a weapon to do that.

That is a choice that that individual made.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says that the shooting is a, quote, inflection point for America.

I've got a question for all of you.

What side do you want to be on?

The side of an all-powerful federal government that can kill, injure, menace, and

kidnap its citizens off the streets, or on the side of a nurse at the VA hospital who died

bearing witness to such government.

President Donald Trump blamed Democrat policies after the shooting, while a bipartisan group of lawmakers

and the National Rifle Association are calling for a full investigation.
