And it made me think of one of her quotes that has always resonated with me about perfectionism.

Now, the preface to this is that she talks about Gill as the idea that I'm a person who's

done bad things or things I'm not proud of.

Shaman is the idea that I'm a bad person.

She says, whoever perfectionism is driving, Shaman is riding shotgun.

Perfectionism is not about healthy striving.
