um, he finds value in. And like me, you've written books and you've had some experience yourself

on addiction so let's let's have people introduce you can start with the book or you can start

telling people about your experiences whatever feels natural to you but what brought you into

this part of the field what brought me into this part of the field? What brought me into this part of the field?

Well, like you, I'm a Jew.

I grew up, I grew up your basic privileged white male in many ways.

Life wasn't perfect, but I had, I wanted for very little of a material major.

Was educated in college, had my education provided for, worked at a firm that was named the number one best firm in all of America to work for by Fortune magazine did a lot of training and kickboxing i was never

very good but i trained a lot of kickboxing i wrote a big old bmw motorcycle owned a home

it was provided for life life provided a lot for privileged white males like the kind that I was, and am still.

But all along, I was addicted to drugs.

I'd started drinking heavily when I was 16 years old, soon moved on to very heavy marijuana,

cocaine, ecstasy.

Finally, for the last 11 years, my addiction, it was methamphetamine.

Devastating.

Yeah, you know.

I know meth well.
