She is gone! This year's trade deadline is tomorrow.

That would be Tuesday, July 30th at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Front offices need to make some very important decisions between now and then.

As I mentioned there have been a number of trades already but some of the biggest names

if they are traded will be traded in the next 30 hours or so. For those who

are buyers they have to determine what is going to help their team make and have a

good post-season run in 2024.

For the teams that are sellers, they have to ask who can help them improve for 2025 and beyond.

In both cases, important questions must be asked and answered.

Questions like, what kind of player or what player package are we seeking?

And many things are vital to making the best decision possible.

It's never an open and shut case. It sometimes works out well. It sometimes does not.

Obviously, talent matters. As it regards prospects, potential matters, but also things like competitiveness,
