All right, we'll start with our icebreaker, and today's icebreaker comes from teamwork member Natalie.

Natalie says, I'm curious if you have some very good or very bad experiences with estimating yardage when casually purchasing a fabric that attracts you and then being very disappointed or feeling very lucky when you can or can't match a project with that yardage.

So have you ever had a time where maybe you didn't buy the amount of yards you need or you felt really lucky

because you had exactly what you needed. I think that I used to be really bad at buying two

little fabrics. So I was always having to make like little design concessions. Like I guess

this is going to be short sleeves, have short sleeves now, or no pockets on this

one or, you know, things like that. So I used to be really bad at it, not because I didn't know

how much fabric something would take, but because I think I was being like, I was buying too much

fabric, like buying fabric too often, buying too much of it,

and then cheaping out when it came to the yardage.

And I have like a little bit different strategy now.

I've gotten a lot better at it.

So usually I get the right amount now.

I know typically what I would like to make out of it,

I know, oh, this would be great for a coat or a pair of pants or a blouse.
