and it's a continuation of a series about Jonah.

We're going to be jumping around a little bit today, but I want to read to you a passage from Mark chapter 6.

So if you have your scripture and want to turn to Mark chapter 6, you can do that.

If you don't, just listen and I'll read it.

And then we'll jump into what God has for us today.

But Mark, Chapter 6, beginning in verse 30 says this.

The apostles returned to Jesus and told them all they had done and taught and they said to them come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while

for many were coming and going and they had no leisure even to eat.

And they went away in the boat to a desolate place

by themselves.

Let me pray for us. Well, Father, I again just thank you for everybody here.

God, wherever we are in the journey of life, wherever we are in the journey of faith,

I just thank you that you've given us this moment together and I

pray that everybody here God would would meet a friendly face would would make a

personal connection but more than anything, God, I pray we would all meet with you and hear from you and that you would meet with us in a very personal way, God.

We're all coming with different needs, but we're all made in your image and at the

bottom for all of us what we need is you. So Lord teach us and help us today, we pray.
