I'm Beth Silverz.

And I'm Sarah Stewart Holland.

We are friends from college who share lifelong passion for politics.

And we decided to turn that into a podcast.

And we named it Pantsy Politics. And this is our premier episode.

We're really excited to be doing this.

We've had some interesting discussions online.

I feel like we are very much opposites of the political spectrum.

But we can always find a way to have interesting conversation about the news of the day.

So hopefully you'll join us for many episodes like this one,

where we try to find the middle on issues.

There's a lot more common ground than people think there is.

I think that's right. And I think people are interested in finding that ground.

And so they're just continuing to clash.

Absolutely. This podcast was born after a Beth wrote a blog on my blog.

Bluegrass Redhead called New Onts, calling for a New Onts and Political Discussion

with a very positive reaction. And we thought, hmm, how can we take this a little bit further?

And here we are at Pantsy Politics.
