I don't think I can. I'm going to do it again. Unidentified anomalous

phenomena. Good. Okay. However, recently I came across a video that sent me spinning in a whole different direction.

Rather than looking and thinking skyward towards space, I dove deeply into the sea and into stories about unidentified submerged objects,

from objects that drop from the sky into the sea to objects that barrel out of the sea and into the sky.

And we found common threads from around the world and throughout history and legends. and

Yeah, it's a fascinating rabbit hole.

So unidentified submerged objects are defined as phenomena reported as unexplained entities or activities occurring underwater.

And while we might think of USOs as a new story, there is a long history here, as Deb just said.

From ancient maritime folklore of reports of sea monsters, historical accounts often described

unexplained submerged entities.

Sailors in the 19th century described encounters with sea serpents,

mermaids, and mysterious underwater lights,

which bears similarities to our modern USO reports.
