In 1981, a group of schoolchildren in Rwanda began reporting visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

She gave the assurances of God's love, but she also warned them that a terrible disaster

that could happen. After church authorities investigated, they approved certain visions at Cabejo.

These are the only African apparitions with such approval, but the church also warned about false

apparitions at Cabejo. So what did our lady of Cabejo say? What happened after her revelations?

in 1983, the three seers at Cabejo received terrifying visions of a barbaric conflict.

And in the 1990s, those visions came true in the Rwandan genocide.

Almost a million people lost their lives, including one of the Cabejo seers.

In 2001, the Cabejo apparitions were given official church approval,
