Mr. Cruise Tips TV and I were sitting in our state room. We're actually on the second cruise of

our grand Japan adventure and we're chilling and we're about to tell you the story of our cruise

that almost didn't happen. It was close. It was a close call, but we're

going to talk about what happened, the flight journey on the way here, and then the first leg of

this crazy summertime adventure over here in Japan. So we scheduled this cruise of the very last minute friends. We had an opportunity to get a killer

deal on Diamond Princess. If you've been following us for a long time, you know that

cruising Japan and specifically Diamond Princess are one of our favorite destinations. It's just a

really special place for us to come. Our son's getting a bit older.

He's in high school now. He's also studying Japanese, but we wanted to do what we feel is like

maybe even a last hurrah before he's up and out and doing college and things like that.

So we found this incredible deal on Diamond Princess. The trick was, it was actually kind of a

not so great itinerary. of a not-so-great itinerary.

It had four sea days, two days in Taiwan, which is great, but that's not really Japan.

And then just a couple port days down to the southern islands of Ishigaki, Okinawa.

But we thought to ourselves, what if we could find another cruise that
