Welcome into this Monday morning edition of pushing the pile.

0:18.1

Mike Ryder, J.P. Acosta, come to you as always.

0:20.5

We are, gosh, a week and a half

0:22.3

away here, 10 days away from night one of the NFL draft, but we're going to go a little

0:27.8

deeper than night one. I feel like we haven't gone too deep into the weeds on later prospects

0:34.1

just yet in this draft. But I wanted to give some of our favorite fits.

0:38.7

Some of these are round one, but a lot of these are post round one fits in this

0:43.9

draft class, player to team that we need to see happen.

0:48.1

I tried to not do some of the ones that I've said already.

0:50.8

Like I've said, DeAngelo Ponzi to the Jets is just, I think it's going to happen. Like, it has to happen. It was like last year, Darien Porter, the Iowa State Corner, he was just going to be a Pete Carroll pick. Like he was going to be a Raider. That was one we're just like before the draft. You just know some fits like that. That to me is DeAngelo Pons to Aaron Glenn this year.

1:11.9

So I didn't do that one, but we have a bunch of others. We did five apiece. We'll start with you, JP. We did some first rounders. Yours is the first rounder, but we'll start with it because I love this one so much. It was in my latest three-round mock draft actually as well. So one of my favorite prospect to team fits is Casey Concepcion, Texas A&M Y receiver to the Carolina Panthers.

1:32.0

And the reason I said this is because the Panthers have sort of, they spent a lot of money on their

1:37.5

defense in free agency.

1:38.8

I don't want to say they fix their issues because you can never like truly solve those

1:43.3

problems up front.

1:44.4

But spending a lot of money at linebacker and Edge makes me think that they're not going to go

1:49.5

defensive line or linebacker in the first round of the NFL draft.

1:54.0

But what they need on offense is speed.

1:56.5

When you look at this offense from last season, although it was very fun towards the end,

2:01.2

they were just kind of slow. Teddirole McMillan is sort of a four or five, sort of glider.

2:06.1

Jalen Coker is more of a power forward playing a wide receiver for them. And the speed that

2:11.3

they can trust is Jimmy Horn, who is maybe like 170 pounds soaking wet. Casey Concepcion gives him some easy separation, some easy verticality, and he helps in
