Hello everyone this is Alex Lieberman co-founder and CEO of Morning Brew coming to you with another episode of the

0:07.4

Founders Journal I'm going to take you behind the scenes at the Brew and today we're talking core values and we're talking core values speech.

0:17.2

I gave the core value speech to the entire morning brew team today and it was an unbelievable experience. Let's hop into it.

0:24.0

It was a fun 30 minutes that we spent as the team on Zoom today. I've been around for a bit

0:29.6

we've talked about values but to hear you recap and put them in writing,

0:35.0

what was really cool?

0:36.4

What do you think of presenting them

0:37.8

and finally making that public to the rest of the team?

0:41.0

1:36.1

perfectionist about most things, I am a perfectionist about something like this.

1:40.0

So I thought what would be helpful is I'm not going to read the entire speech, but I want to read bits of this speech to give you the gist of how I address the team and then I want to talk about what these values mean to me and how I'm thinking about them moving forward.

1:55.0

Okay.

1:57.0

What's up everyone?

2:00.0

Thanks so much for giving me a few minutes of your time.

2:03.2

To set the stage, today I'll be giving Morning Brew's core value speech.
