Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset and I realize it

doesn't have to be mourning that you're listening to this it's just mourning

when I record them and it feels to be like we're all just having a conversation

which is something I love about podcasting is we can connect over the

airwaves over the digital media files through a recording like this.

So thank you for being with me today.

I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God.

Now today we have what I believe is one of the most difficult passages in all of the

book of Romans and that is Romans chapter 3 beginning in verse 1 and it's difficult not because it's hard to understand. It's

difficult because it's hard to accept. You see in our humanity we want to feel that we're being treated, quote unquote, fairly.

And when we do not feel we are being treated fairly, just like the kid on the playground, we yell at that's not fair and what we're saying is

I'm not being given a fair shake I am not being treated the way that I think I should be treated.

And Paul is going to lay out a situation for us and then he's going to give us the answer

to the conundrum in a way that's hard to swallow because of that very fact, the

very fact that we want ourselves to be lifted up, ourselves to be given credit for certain things.

When Paul's whole point here in Romans one, two, and three

is that none of us is worthy of any credit

because sin has had its effect on us and has tainted us in every

way conceivable.

Let's read the passage and then we will talk about it. This is Romans 3, verse number 1.

Paul asks a question, then what advantage has the Jew?

Or what is the value of circumcision?
