Otto Nilsen. So when I covered the Jeanette de Palma case, I talked about the murder of Joan Kramer and how her death is

likely connected to Jeanette's. I told you guys I was going to talk about it so that's what we're doing this week but I want you

guys to pay attention to this area in general because we're going to talk at the end.

So just a little background.

On the night of August 15, 1972,

Joan Kramer was entertaining friends at her childhood home with her boyfriend Bernard David Hoff.

Her parents had invited about 30 people over, including Joan and Bernard.

At some point during the night, the couple had an argument,

like, you know, many of us do when we're hanging out

with boyfriends and family settings.

She snuck out of the house and began the mile and a half walk down the hill to the local downtown area of South Orange, New Jersey.

She clic-clacked her way, the mile and a half in her heels.

When she got to town, she did what most of us girls do.

I just pick up my cell phone and complain to Megan about whatever it is my husband is doing.
