Welcome back to the podcast.

I've got a good one for you guys today from the suspense program called Too Hot to Live.

Now, suspense did this play two or three different times with different actors,

and I am today airing the version, the 1950 version starring Mr. Richard Widmark.

So Richard Woodmark, just a few comments about him, then we'll get right into it.

He was born December 26th, 1914, and was an American film, stage, and television actor and producer.

He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as the villainous Tommy Udo in his debut film,

Kiss of Death of 1947.

Early in his career, he was typecast in similar villainous or anti-hero roles, but he later

branched out into more heroic, leading, and supporting roles in westerns, mainstream dramas, and horror films.

During the 1940s, he was heard on such network radio programs such as Gangbusters, The Shadow, InterSankton Mysteries, Joyce Jordan M.D.,A Mystery Theater, Suspense, and Ethel and Albert.

For his contributions to the motion picture industry, he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6,800 Hollywood Boulevard.

And in 2002, he was inducted into the Western Performers Hall of Fame at the National

Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He passed away March 24, 2008 2008 at the age of 93. All right, folks, well let's go ahead and get
