Now, we've spoken about Robert Dryden several times, so I'm just going to say a few

words about Marion Haley, and then we will wrap up the opening comments. All right, Marian

Haley was born February 1st, 1941, and she is still with us, by the way. She is an American

actress, author, and humanitarian. She was born in Portland, Oregon, and got a degree in drama

at the University of Washington.

She began her acting career in the early 1960s with performances in Shakespearean festivals.

She moved to New York City a few years later where she was cast in a series of Broadway plays and motion

pictures. She also played the critically acclaimed role of Brenda in the 1970 film Lovers and

other strangers. Also appearing in today's play are Court Benson and Ann Petoniac.
