I'm a lot of stuff to do because we've got a lot of things going on, but I'm going to go live in about 15 minutes with a real, real good live video for everybody but I had this thought

I didn't want to keep it to myself I want to get it out there it's very quick how many of you are

debating or only decide to search a vehicle when you detect the odor of marijuana.

Think about that and think about how practical that actually is.

So I'm not saying this to pick on you, I'm saying this to educate you.

So think about this this how many of you

only decide to search a car when you smell the odor of marijuana and think about

this how many things don't smell like marijuana what are you missing why are you

not consent searching and I get a lot of people

haven't had perspective or training on it they haven't seen things but think about

that as you're out there in the field how many things you're letting go and not even

poking and prodding and looking into and asking a few questions about

merely because the only time you're comfortable searching a car is when you get the

order of marijuana and by the way if you're still in a state that you guys are allowed to

search for the odor of marijuana don't get used to it because it may be some time,

but eventually before your career ends,

you won't be able to search cars with the odor of marijuana.

That's a real reality.
