I'm taking you back to 50 years ago, when the pop group The Osmonds, with millions of

fans around the world, landed at London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom.

There were so many fans waiting to see them, that part of the terminal building collapsed.

Donnie Osmond tells me what happened.

7, 6, 5.

It's October 1973.

The Osmonds are on the start of a European tour, and have been besieged by fans every

move they've made.

Donnie and his older brother Alan are watching television in Central London.

I remember a moment, was at the Churchill Hotel, and my brother Alan and I were in the

room watching this television programme.

There were three people, was the presenter, there was a child psychiatrist, and a member

of Scotland Yard.

Good evening, on Tuesday this week, I think.

The topic of discussion was whether Donnie Osmond should be deported from Rokai, because

of what he's doing to our children.

Alan turns to me, and he says Donnie, remember this moment, because this never happens.

This stuff never happens.

And I watched it, and I thought, I'm just singing my songs, and they wanted to port me.
