Hello. We're back from all kinds of things, vacation, ComicCon.

Comic Con.

We have an exciting show lined up today.

We're going to talk about Joanna's Adventures in San Diego at the Comic Con and we're going to talk about the upcoming

Toronto International Film Festival which just announced a big chunk of its lineup and then we're going to go

back and look at the 2013 Best Picture Race when Toronto Sensation Argo defied the odds with no best director nomination and one best picture

But first let's talk about comic-con I'm gonna turn it over to Richard who's going to quiz Joanna about this.

Yeah, I think I've been tasked with this partly because like I said last week, I did Comic-Con for whatever reason that kind of information is something that just always

alludes me like I pay attention to it but then I can't really follow the narratives of

you know who's what the big panels are and everything so Joanna just like from your

perspective what was the big event at ComicCon this year?

Was it Brie Larson as Captain Marvel or was there something else I'm missing?

Well the Brie Larson thing was sort of one of those maddening confirmation of a really strong rumor.

It was sort of when they announced Alden Aaron Reich at Star Wars Celebration something we already

pretty much knew.

So I don't know that it was a big surprise, but everyone seemed really really excited about it.

I will say just the entire Marvel Slate, their whole presentation, was the biggest show of the weekend.
