Had our schedule interrupted by the move of the it is, it is how we live.

So, uh, thankful for what the Lord's doing in you guys and the reports I've been hearing.

I've got, uh, quite a bit of ground to cover this morning.

And I would say this morning I'm going to launch into, uh, I'll do a short review, but basically I'm going to launch into I'll do a short review but basically I'm going to launch into some things that

are really deep in my heart regarding what we mean when we say union so we're going to title this this morning

orthodox satirology, Orthodox satirology.

Orthodox satirology.

And I'll tell you, I'll just give you an idea of what I mean when I say Orthodox

because I'm afraid when I say Orthodox people think Orthodox Church.

And that's not necessarily what I'm communicating, although I love what I see in the Eastern Orthodox Church.

It's got just as many holes in issues as our Protestantism does.

So I'm not advocating, you know, orthodoxy over Protestantism, nor Orthodoxy over Catholicism, nor, you know, Protestantism, over Catholicism, or vice versa. But what we mean when we say over Catholicism nor, you know, Protestantism over Catholicism or vice versa.

But what we mean when we say orthodox comes from two words, ortho and doxus.

And it's where we get the word doxology, which is our word for worship.

Ortho means right or correct.

So a lot of people would look at orthodoxy as right doctrine,

and I don't believe that does justice to the definition of doxus, what doxology really is.

Doxology is worship. So orthodoxy is getting our worship right, and understanding that what we

were born for, what we were designed for, everything that we

were intended to be moving into comes as a secondary consequence of a lifestyle of adoration.
