The hottest topics in college

football right now involve who's getting into the playoff or the structure of how we decide who

gets in, but there hasn't been much talk about the only undefeated team left in the country,

number one ranked Oregon. And it's baffling to me. Every other year, we'd be gassing up the number one team

like a diesel truck at a gas station. In a year where consistent good play has been rare,

Dan Laning in Oregon have been the model of consistency. That didn't say they're perfect, they're not,

or that this year hasn't been full of parody because it has. Both of those things

are true. But in year one of them being in the Big Ten after losing Bucky Irving and Bo Nix, who are both

balling in the league right now, Oregon has been the only team to win every game and have shown

the most balanced attack in the country. You can't find a team that plays better complementary football when they need it the

most. Maybe it's because Dylan Gabriel isn't the Heisman frontrunner anymore, or we have the first year of the
