I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. A man from Oregon will spend the rest of his

life behind bars after being convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting two women locking one in a cinder-block cell.

Nagasi Zubari was sentenced last week in federal court. U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Sweet says Zubari is a serial predator who hunted women.

An FBI report says in July of 2023, Zubari solicited a woman to engage in prostitution in Seattle. He told the woman he was

an undercover officer, showed a badge, pointed a taser at her, and put her in handcuffs and leg irons

before putting her in the back of his car. He then drove hundreds of miles to his home in

Claymouth Falls, Oregon, and locked her in a cinder block cell in his garage. The woman managed

to escape and Zubari fled to Reno, Nevada, where he was arrested.

Federal authorities later linked him to a second kidnapping from May of 2023, where he abducted a woman outside a Klamath Falls bar, once again threatening her with a taser, cuffs her, putting her in his car, and sexually assaulting her.
